90 Day Report

If it was TV I would have posted it but some Admins are a bit funny about adding links to other forums...like TV for instance 

Until its confirmed its just a rumor.

He did say he had an emails saying......  Notification 90 days is Approved.

Obviously not what you want to here ,  for business reasons   

By not giving a source your only spreading a rumor and a third party at that. FYI Two close friends of mine were in KCI today and did their 90 day report and were told "not yet ready". See what the the answers are tomorrow. As for not wanting to hear this your totally wrong rumors are of no good to anyone.

I have to go for my next 90 day report next week.  I'll ask them at that time if they are accepting the new online 90 day reporting that's being rolled out in April.  Here's hoping.

I did my 90 day today at KCI.  I had to go in person anyway as I was changing my address.  I asked if after this I could do my 90 day on the internet and was told yes.

It's a nation wide thing and ALL offices have been instructed to accept. I thought Kap Choeng would dig their heels in but no. They processed mine in about an hour and a half.

IF I were a betting man (which I'm not)

I'd wager this is being done as a centralized thing and the big changes they did about the middle of last year which finally linked all immigrations offices and all border crossings together, via some mysterious and evidently new thing in thailand called the world wide web, aka; the internet, was in preparation for this roll out..

Entering your passport number on a terminal at Chaengwattana (even in the 90 day reporting area which used to have its own data base); shows name, previous passport number (if any), age, sex, country of orgasm, errr origin, type of extension of stay, permitted to stay until, quite a few of the last exits/entries into the kingdom, last time you did a 90 day report, any overstays, fines for late reporting etc.

I highly doubt that the local offices have ANYTHING to do with this online 90 day reporting.

I called six of the problem offices again today (as I said before, just because I'm a nosy prick). LOW AND BEHOLD, will wonderz never cease? Every single one of the offices I and asked if I could do my 90 day report by the internet said, "CAN!!!" Even the two which alluded to future problems were on board with the 90 day via the internet now...

It would appear in talkin' to the ICT division that the error messages that people are getting is due to them not putting the information in exactly as Immigrations has it in their data base.. Currently there is no way for someone to check how your information was entered.

Funny you said that misskit, the immigrations officer also pointed out how it was "higher up the list" and easier to find too.. I just re-checked the list of countries closer and they have East Germany listed in the drop down!! I mean when did they buy that list 'o countries?

I did find it so typically thai that on the main page for the 90 day online it says Office Contract : Contract Immigration, which directs you to a way to contact immigrations... The good thing is it is an excel sheet with the current phone numbers of all the immigrations offices in the country on it!
