Just a question you guys so I'm clear on it, and seeing as your area especially KCI still has the most 90 day online approvals..

Has anyone got thru the process using an entered thailand on date from before 2013?

The was a mod on another forum from Ubon who sent an email to immigrations and they said;
Quote
Sorry for your inconvenience with the 90 days report via internet.

There's some condition about 90 days report via internet. Not that everyone can do.

The system must have your last entry to Thailand and your last 90 days report information.

In your case, the system cannot detect your last entry to Thailand in 2008. So ashamed to tell you that our information system change every few years. Only those entry to Thailand around 2013 - 2015 (now) can do or else you just have to come to our office as before.

Anyway, I tried about 5 guys plus myself here in Bangkok who needed to do 90 day reporting and NOT A SINGLE ONE would go thru.

Thanx

15 days out from my 90 day report as of today so gave the on line report a shot. Pleasantly surprised to whizz through the 4 stages and now waiting approval !
I think they've done a pretty good job with the website to date and found it relatively intuitive. Fingers crossed approval will be forthcoming.
Appreciate the information given by previous postseason on this subject.

Steve,

BTW, this successful on-line 90 day report is making me change my ways.  I will now start doing an on-line report at the beginning of the 15 day before window in case it does not work, that will give me about 3 weeks to schedule a trip if required.

For the last several years I have managed to only be required to do two 90 day reports per year (not counting the extionsion).  Now I don't care if I have to do 4.

Online 90 Day Report APPROVED. Recieved email at 0809hrs this morning and just double checked on line. Well Done KCI. As previously stated, seems like they have their act together.

Outstanding.  Another poster was mentioning that he can not complete the online process because he entered Thailand 2008.  Do you think if he used the date of last extension approval instead of the 2008 date that it would possibly work?

Just for reference: I submitted at 1200hrs on the 13th and received approval advisory email at 0809hrs this morning (15th). Turnaround was 44 hours and that was with a day of closure this week so assume they may have had a small backlog.

Haven't a clue mate but no harm in trying. If not acceptable then presume system will reject it and no harm done!

I'm going back to UK for a couple of weeks in September. When I do the next 90 day report following the re-entry I'm not sure if I enter Sep 2015 as my date of entry or Sep 2014 which is when I entered to commence my retirement? I'll ask at the border when I return but if answer not clear then will just go online and see what works.

Both Freddy and I used the actual date we obtained our extensions for the "Stay Permit Date".  In my case it was 11 Feb 2015 whereas the Extension date is 14 Feb.

Just for clarity. They ask for 2 dates. Firstly date entered Thailand and secondly date permission to stay was granted.

I last arrived in Thailand on Sep 18 th 2014 and gave this date as my entry date.
I applied for my retirement extension which was granted on 5th December 2014 and used this date as my permission to stay date.

My query is this. I go back to UK in September for 2 weeks. When I re- enter Thailand on the 19 th of Sep I will have a new entry date which is later than the date I was given permission to stay. For 90 day reports after that re- entry date I am unclear if I use the original 2014 entry date or the latest one. My concern is that if the date of entry is later than the permission to stay date then the system may spit back.

Okay, there is NO "stay permit date" on page 1 or 2. There are only the following choices.
Here's the first page;

That page only has the date you entered thailand (this is the date that is messing up people who entered before 2013 and haven't left since then)..

Here's the second page;

It ONLY has two fields "Visa Issue Date" and "Visa Expiration Date".
Per the person at Immigrations; the day they stamp the year extension into your passport is the issue date and the expiration date is when your current permission to stay expires. It's got NOTHING to do with an actual "visa" and everything to do with a yearly extension of stay.

It's NOT that immigrations doesn't have the person's info that can't get the online system to work, as he's been doing in person 90 day reports for years, it's that the data base for the online program isn't current and isn't recognizing an arrival date earlier than 2013.

Freddy when you come back your 90 day calendar starts again, and to show them that, you're going to put the date you most recently entered thailand in the box on the first page.

Unless I'm wrong, your current extension of stay might have been granted on December 2014 but it's good until December of 2015..
Otherwise you're already on overstay..

As far as I know, I have successfully done a Thailand 90 day report.   I printed the approval paperwork and attached to my passport.

In discussion with my TW today, Wow, we are both happy it worked as we have several commitments that would have been canceled if not for the on-lne approval.

It appears, from everything I can glean off the thai related forums out on the inter-web that the Kap Choen Immigrations office has the most approvals online, or at least the most people who've reported back and said they've done it successfully.

I did talk to Jomtien Immigrations yesterday about the 90 day online system and was told IF I didn't use an email from either gmail, yahoo or hotmail, immigrations wouldn't send you confirmation that you have a 90 day pending or if it's been approved.

Instead you have to go check the status on their website using the reference number or passport, DOB, nationality to find out..

Any of you guys done a successful 90 day online report who didn't use one of those three email providers?
