Evening all,

Looking for some advice. Hopefully I've put this the right section as it's a mix between hotels and football. I've never been to Buriram before and I'm travelling up next month for the weekend to watch Buriram and Thai Port. I'm travelling with the wife and two kids.

I was wondering if anyone has any recommendations for a family hotel that is close to the centre, the Nakhon Chai Air bus station as we'd be arriving late on a Friday and walking distance to the Irish pub/ Jimmys Sports cafe for myself. I don't fancy staying at the Amari as it's a bit pricy for a family room so any help would be appreciated. I've had a look at Kaysorn Place and the Best Western.  Any others come to mind?

Another question, how easy/hard is it to get to and from town to Thunder Castle on matchday? Does it take ages? Hard to find transport?

Again, any help on this would be most appreciated.

Cheers,

Marty

Hi Marty.
Welcome to the forum.
I would recommend, Muang Pizza  http://www.booking.com/searchresults.en-gb.html?aid=318615;label=Low_CPA_English_EN_ALL-GBIECAUS_12118496185-MPXw%2AQobMHq2iGrahhx2HQS4693
or the Best western hotel.  http://www.bestwesternburiram.com/
Both minutes from the bus station, and also Jimmys, The Irish bar a little further but only 5 mins by Tuk Tuk.
Not A football fan myself, but Thunder Castle is also easily reached by a taxi from the bus station. Both of the above mentioned
hotels would be able to arrange it for you.

Good luck "enjoy"

You already mentioned the Best Western which would have been my recommendation.
