No more 90-day by mail at Kap Choeng
« on: January 26, 2015, 02:38:16 PM »
Today I went first to my local postoffice and asked when my registered mail with my 90-day report from December 26 last year had been delivered in Kap Choeng.  Good service as usual and I got the answer from Kap Choeng postoffice that they had delivered it on December 29. My report date was January 9 so they had plenty of time even if the New Year was celebrated in between.
With this information I called the immigration office and was told that they no longer accepted 90-days report by mail The new boss had said NO)  so now I have to travel my 2x195 km every 90 days again. I just wonder if I get my show of gratitude back  oldmanwithstick

OH so nice of them to send you a post or give a call to let you know that your paperwork arrived safely but unfortunately they will be doing nothing with it.  TIT

Easy now. All of us !

Yesterday I was told on the phone that KCI don't accept the 90-day report by mail any more. Hence I quickly posted my first message on this subject.
Today I got the receipt for my last report to January 9 with no mention that they should not accept my reports by mail anymore. The receipt was dated January 8.
I will ignore what I was told on the phone yesterday and send my next report by mail again in April. Then I will have plenty of time to wait before I shall go and apply for a new extension of stay in the beginning of May
