Found this link in another place for bbq's.They look really good and solid,and the prices don't seem to be way over the top as far as I can see.The top of the line one here would be about 40000Baht in Oz,so fairly comparable,just thought I'd throw in this link for those with an interest(like me) JasonB

A bit cheaper, we have cooked for ten people on Thai barbecues like these, we had 5 going at my wedding. TBH 300.- a piece.

The misses bought one of these for around 500 THB (around 80-100cm in Length) and it works perfectly.

Yeh,I put this link up mostly for people that wanted a serious BBQ for racks of ribs,or large steaks,or bbq for pork roasts under a hood etc,as up until now they have been dear as poison in Thailand,but for smaller jobs I use the above examples myself.I just thought a better one with perhaps a rotary function,with a hood pretty much negates having an oven in the Baan,and you can still have the charcoal base to add flavour.
