Sold!

Just closed a deal for 12,000.  I have to pay for any grease at police stops along the way there (which I'm told can happen any time the load is covered, even if you're just carrying personal belongings like us) and I have to give something to the extra guy who will help load and unload.  Yeah, according to google the trip is about 540 km and takes basically 7 hours.  That was exactly how long Nakorn Chai Air took, too.

Since two other people quoted 15,000 and wouldn't go any lower, and since this guy seems responsible and skillful and has made the route before, I'm comfortable with the final price.

The funny thing is, we made contact with this fellow when I just went up to the window of a random 6-wheeler filling up at the Esso station and asked if the guys inside knew anyone who could make the trip.  This fellow is a friend of the random 6-wheeler driver.

Smooth2- Interesting info!  Thanks!

Good price but I expect the final bill to be over 15K..

12,000 + 600 for an extra person lifting (who was worth the price just as eye candy alone).  No add-ons.  No fuss.  No hassles.  No police extortion.

Hello from Phitsanulok.

Do you want the picture where he's bending over the box or where he's thrusting it upward deep into the truck?

Just after I posted about a pic I remembered him commenting on "alternate lifestyles".   But I had already posted so hoped for the best.

Glad Mitch was happy.

I don't judge people, their choices are theirs, each to their own,but Mitch, that was a fairly crude thing to say Mate.

Maybe, but in Mitch's defense at least he did not post a picture requiring emergency eye wash.

It's about the truck.  Look, I'll tell you exactly what happened.  We were riding in the back of the covered truck while the driver was in the cab.  He was talking about how lonely it is working trucks- the long roads, the scarce companionship.  That's when it happened- when he took off his shirt.  Jason, you have never seen nipples before like that man had.

are you drunk??

I had a Pepsi.
