I agree the food at the night market is very nice and not expensive, but sometimes you just need some traditional food from back home, and a good pie with peas and chips hits the spot. hungry1

I also tried Buriram Pie Man pies in the past and they were excellent.

Competition is good and welcome but of course we would opt Buriram genuine firm any day!!

Steve, Give us your updated pricelist and menu, Photos are welcome!! :) sawadi

I'm down to my last spoonful of Bovril, getting desperate..........
The pies cost 60 baht each delivered !
50 if you collect .

They are on par with Staffords but I prefair stafford chicken and ham and chicken and mushroom !
The pastry is the light golden type I like .

All good baby baby ...

Did you like the pastry Co co ?
Was the beef tender ?
And last but not least was the gravy nice ?

I mentioned these prices to a friend of mine. He was quite surprised as he had been charged more per pie, actually the prices on the Korat Chef website. So, he sent them an email asking about their prices. This is the reply:

"The prices on our website are for retail, and are correct.

We offer a discount to trade customers who want to sell or use our products. Trade customers place high volume orders and we are able to offer them discounts.

The prices you mention don't seem accurate to me though.

Best Regards,
Martin"

Why would you post misleading information?

85 Baht for a 250g Steak & Kidney pie is expensive - that is 34 Baht/100g.

By way of comparison I think Buriram Pies are 65 Baht and are 350g - that is 18.5 Baht/100g

Our steak and kidney pies, and most of our range, are 60 baht.

Specials, such as puddings (65baht) and pies with added stilton cheese (70 baht) are a little more.
