I don't know of any close to you, but if come into Buriram drive past the Thep Nakorn hotel (going North towards the Airport) and take a right just after you pass the RR tracks.

Go past the thepnakorn hotel and head to the traffic lights as if your going to the Irish bar.. Turn right at the lights and on your left hand side about 50m you will see one there.. If you reach the Irish bar you have gone to far..

We just dump our stuff in the blue bins along the road when nobody is around. The neighbours happily collect our beer cans and paper.

Ahh - Co-mingling with a local re-sort.  Probably works just as well as any.

...I don't have a bad conscience about it after seeing what gets dumped along the road overnight.

Everything that I throw into the big blue rubbish bin outside my place gets rummaged by at least 10 different local "recycle" collectors every day. Nothing of any value escapes these guys ie. plastic, glass, paper, metal etc

On a different tack ... what's the big deal about throwing stuff into a blue bin as Davu has says he does ? The blue bins belong to the Municipality and are for everyone's use.

I have 2 blue bins outside my place that are used by 26 houses in the soi. The bins are filled everyday, and emptied every night at 4am. Every so often, an unknown pickup will stop and drop a shitload of rubbish into the bins, then nick off. Maybe it's Davu ?  555   No big deal. The bins are public property.

My father in law is my recycling facility. I take any plastic, cardboard, cans or metal waste and empty beer/whisky bottles to him (he lives next door) and he sells the waste somewhere locally...It's a good arrangement...my recycle-able waste is disposed of and he makes a few baht...everybody happy

I do a bit of recycling. In fact I have just started to recycle a bottle of gin and a pack of tonic.

Happy New Year.
