Police breathaliser check on the way out of Korat last night

A large force of police were conducting brathaliser checks on every vehicle last night very close to 'DO HOME' on the road to Chok Chai

So what happens to you if you test positive?
In the evening I am often over the limit.
Its been well documentated before..........You can't buy your way out of it,banged up for the night,in court next morn,fined 10,000 baht,warned a 2nd time it'll be 30k & or 3/6 months inside plus your visa could be cancelled!

I was thinking drink driving was compulsory in Thailand  party9

It happened to the wife's brother last Songkran on his way back to Bangkok - exactly as Nookie describes and he had to report to Prakhonchai police station every 3 months for a year.
