Totally agree Ray....Usually when the price is not quoted, it is a SILLY price....and no one would follow up...not saying that this is the case here...just my opinion

If foreigners continue to buy land at these prices, the locals will keep demanding the money....  TW mother has 30 rai farmland, neighbor wants to buy for 800,000 per rai for 7 rai.  Of course the person holding the purse strings is son in law in Germany.  Ill never be able to buy land at those prices.

I've got about 40 rai in different locations, all next to toads but I never got proposed such prices  .... why ?

I have just under 30 Rai up for sale at the moment,15 km from Buriram.

Asking price 90,000 Baht a Rai.not having to much interest at the moment,but that's only to be expected.

But my point is where do these people find these numbers,doesn't seem much point trying to sell something that nobody wants to buy,or simply can afford to buy.

As has been pointed out,it's Farangs,such as yourself who are pushing up prices all over Thailand,just like real estate agents talking up prices.Then you find some new comers to the country,who haven't got a clue,and flog it to them for 5x it's worth.
       THEY are then stuck with it,if they have to go back to their countries,and can't sell,not without a massive loss,after putting a Baan on it etc......I don't know who is worse the Thai's or the Farangs,on the greed front.

Sorry my English not very well but I think I understand what you mean.
I do this business I never want to cheat anyone or farang or whoever.The price that I put on my property I think it's fair price because some property takes for more 3 years to sale it.
And the price of the property in Nangrong is very expensive. You can check at the Thongburi project where is 1km far from my property,there price is nearly 4 million baht per rai already.

If I could sell some of my land at the moment I would, and if I could sell it and get 6 times what I paid for it then I would be very happy.
If someone wants to give me their money why should I say no, if Farang are stupid enough to let that happen to themselves then they deserve all they get.
I hope and pray I meet this sort of Farang, given the chance I would take every last penny off them.
