Anyone that uses Google chrome or Firefox can use this app to watch the BBC iplayer here in Thailand

I'm using it on Google Chrome and it works a treat

Go to that link MediaHint for Chrome Free Download
Download the extension by right clicking on the link in blue

Once downloaded

Click "tools" in Chrome
Click "extensions"
Drag and drop the mediahint0.1.12.crt file from your download folder straight into that chrome extension page.

Job done, you can now watch the BBC without a VPN

And no more sites that have endless adds to remove before you can watch

hulu wont let me watch it without upgrading and paying $7.99 a month so will use the other links

Some of the programs are PPV but many are free

some assistance or advice is required please as i have just changed my laptop and bought one here in thailand with windows 8 installed ,
I have tried the same technique on this laptop but for some reason I PLAYER is still blocked
is this a problem with incompatibility of the media hint software with windows 8 or is it that my thai bought computer cant bloody understand it
any advice appreciated

Have a look at HOLA unblocker ..... Its an add on that should work in any browser. I am using it in Mozilla.

From memory I installed specifically to run the I Player.

I stay away from Chrome despite efforts by various sneaky websites to install it for me and make it my default web browser. Google will TRACK you and punish you, aliens will land in your back garden.
You can download Mediahint on Firefox also, seems to work better early in the morning due to bandwidth.

Yes i shall give that HOLA unlocker a try later and i had pretty much given up trying to watch anything on the internet in the evenings as you have noted band width is not good thanks for the answers

The trick is to find an uploader so you can watch the film or whatever later.

Easy fix to stop trackers ... https://www.abine.com/

There is a free version there that stops tracking on both web pages and your email address if you want.

I have been using it for 3 months and so far I have (it has) blocked 51000 trackers

And just out of interest .... Buriram Expats website does not have any trackers
