Want to Find, Baby Crib

Things are coming along and the baby is due in September.  I am trying to find an American Style Baby Crib.  I checked at ICE but no luck, they steered me to a baby shop down from the day market. 
 
Does anyone know of a store that sells them?  Or maybe one of you BE members has a used one. 
 
I would like to say I am ready to buy, but Thai's believe you don't get until the baby is born, so I am currently just trying to find one.  I am also investigating having one made locally.

If I am not mistaken, the drop sides on these cribs have all but been outlawed, safety issues.  If you build, may I suggest sturdy fixed sides.  If you want something shipped from here let me know.

Thai style works like a charm, simple wooden frame, sling a bit of fabric up, swing the baby to sleep, they love it!!

But it would be difficult to fix  a 'bullet proof' surround to it!

Yup. You will need bulletproofing if it was US of A. 

But seriously. Thai style is great and is great for their colonic function and also helps them to sleep better with swinging. It is also great for ventilation due to warm climate there and you can cover it for protection from mosquitoes.

One of our friends in Prakhonchai gave us theirs and I made one here for my daughter using simple pine and she loved sleeping in it. We mostly used it during day time.

We also had something similar to what you showed for night time. We bought it from Surin Plaza and costed around 3,000 baht only.

Thanks, will try to check out Surin, but we think we have found a solution in Korat. 

We already have a Thai one for the day time.  (her sister has a 2 year old)

urleft - All the best with birth and baby. Where do yo plan the delivery? We went to Ruamphet in Surin. I would highly recommend it and Dr. Chava Mai who delivered the baby.

I did one more thing that came out to be handy. I glued LED (not too bright in white colour and worked with a push button and batteries) on the one end  of the crib. This helped to check on baby at night rather than turning all lights up. We tried to use the projector, but it was quite weird. So now we only use night light. Mine is now close to 2 years old.
