I find your message with clapping smilies says a lot about you.

This forum is for expats helping expats and yet you seem to relish in others hard times. If I am wrong, I apologise but that is exactly how it seems to me and you know what they say 'what goes around, comes around'.

Have a nice day Tony

If it is closing, I would guess it has a lot to do with the strong Baht.

A lot of fixed income Expats are having to cut back as they don't have the amount of baht as they did a few years ago. And beer is a luxury, not a neccessity (unless you are like Nookie).

Plus the fact that prices are raising here.  I personally attribute it to the impacts of the Minimum wage where increased prices (e.g. fuel) and causing other prices to increase.

I can not believe some of the prices.  Same as in America in some instances, yet the people make 300 to 500 USD a month.  I really dont feel like I am doing wrong by helping out the family.  I had such reservations, but I hope some good comes of helping them be self sufficient.
