The story maybe true, but he was not teaching at "Mary Buriram", as you called it.

You're right.

He had not yet begun teaching because classes were not yet in session. He had, however, been employed to replace the outgoing teacher at Mary Buriram. He was employed for, I believe, about 2 weeks before he took his own life.

Ryan...He didn't even make it to school. He was employed by an agency that provide teachers. He had been with them for about 10 days. It seems he didn't even make the first day at school.

He was a guy that used to live in Bangkok. Wife from around here. Started to build a house somewhere between here and Korat. About 40 years old. Problem???? Don't know as I didn't ask.

Ha ha...thanks.....for telling me what I just told you!

The only point I was making was to tell the OP that, yes, the story he heard was true....a local teacher did, in fact, commit suicide. It never occurred to me that I needed to explain the particulars of the BEFITS "Mary" employment relationship!

And I was just proving you right Ryan.

I have been teaching at the school mentioned above, Marie by the way, for 3 years. I had heard nothing so wondered. That is all.

I was simply adding more info that some people had asked for and clarifying other info.

Anyway this thread is about someone who has died.

RIP.
