Awwww crap !!!  ........ you are so right Somnat. Thanks for that. Apologies to all.

I stopped reading when it said only 14 days !!

12765 baht to Perth plus 10160 baht taxes !!!!!!!

I REALLY get pissed off when I see such blatant deceptive banner advertising as this.

If something seems too good to be true .... it probably is !!!!!!!!!!

Never mind. 14 days was never going to be long enough for me anyway.

Me too, especially when they advertise these not so cheap flights as "special fare promotions"

Thai Airways are normally somewhere around these prices during the months mentioned every year.

Add in the stronger than usual Thai Baht / weakening Aussie $ and it really is "normal" flight prices.

Mind you, for someone who needed a quick visit to OZ at this time of year, the prices are not too bad.

I totally agree with you Somnat    thumbup

I'll still fly with Thai. For me personally, they still have the best all round value fares. (At least on Per-BKK)

I tried Jetstar Asia, via Singapore last year. Was only $150 cheaper (4600bt) for the return flight, but had to pay extra for everything. First time on a budget long haul flight. Thought I'd give it a try. Never ever again. I knew all of the following points would apply, but it was a horrible experience all the same.

No check in luggage ... extra  (Never seen so many HUGE carry on bags in my life.)
No drinks whatsoever ... extra
No food whatsoever ... extra
No movies or entertainment. (Apart from the screaming family sitting all around me)
NON reclining seat (are you kidding !!! ) designed for tiny, little, very petite oriental people

Phwrrrrrrrrrr ... never been so happy to see BKK Airport !!     :)

Thai flights are a dream. You really DO get what you pay for !!

Would love to fly First Class anywhere one day before I drop dead. Just to see if the web pictures are for real !!
