From now until the end of season, we will not have the strength of Carmelo.

Due to the suggestion from the president of the referee committee, it has been decided that Carmelo will not allowed to participate in any tournaments organised or co-organised by The Thai Football Association.

The President of the referee committee suggested the order to commence on 1st August 2014. The Vice President of the Thai Football Association has issued the order dating it 1st August 2014 to Buriram United banning Carmelo for the rest of the season (2014).

From the suggesting to commencing the order was done all in 1 day.

There was no time given for a plea.

They have taken Carmelo out of the 12 remaining games for Buriram United in The Thai Premier League.

***Because they are scared that we will win Thai Premier League.

The President of Buriram United has always said that we play 11 against 14.

But what we are faced with today is not only 11 vs 14.

We are faced with the whole corrupted entity that is The Thai Football Association.

Not matter what they do, we must support our team, together hand in hand moving onwards and upwards regardless of the obstacle.

We are determined, even without Carmelo for the next 12 matches to win Thai Premier League for the 3rd time running as we have anticipated.

All our players are capable to fill in this void and is more than willing to play for Carmelo who has become a victim of this unjust association.

From now on we will not only be playing against the opposing team but more importantly with these committees as well.

Any victories from now on will not only be over the other teams.
But a victory over the egomaniacs that hides behind the shadows of this tainted association.

The day we win Thai Premier League will be the day we take down these bullies who call themselves representative of Thailand.

The guy that led the charge to ban Carmelo is the father of one of the owners of Muang thong ......... Coincidence ?!!!
Remember this is a longer ban than Suarez for a misdemeanour with a wart bottle - it's football not ballet

Sorry to ask a silly question guys ... but what did Carmelo do, and when, to warrant a 12 match suspension.
I must have been asleep that day, as I've not read anything about the incident. Even Google has nothing ?

It must have been pretty speccy, as 12 match holiday in any professional sport is pretty serious.

Carmelo's misery was compounded a few minutes later when he received a second yellow card for dissent. The referee failed to give him a free-kick after he had been fouled for the umpteenth time and he showed his frustration by kicking away a water bottle which was off the pitch.
Yes that really is all it was! Kicking a water bottle that wasn't even on the pitch out of frustration- I've watched video of the match and the ref was dire .
In the English premier league and elsewhere in the world of pro football the ref would probably be facing match fixing allegations

The referee was a disgrace,when you see the amount of bad challenges on Carmelo that went unpunished though out the game.
It would seem some people are willing to go to an lengths to stop Buriram winning the title yet again.
When you watch some of the other challenges on the video clips that went unpunished,how on earth can they ban Carmelo for 12 games.

The 4 - 0 win was a good retort as well.

A great show of unity, and passion, from the team and the owners wife.

All the players celebrated the first goal by going over to Carmelo (in the dug out) and got on their knees and did a 'we are not worthy' salute.

Garuna (Newin) gave a passionate speech about the unfairness of the ban and that they would do something to get it overturned.

I saw the game n tv, once the soldiers had finished waffling on every thai tv channel!!

Get the ban overturned and then get the ref in for disciplinary- watched all the previous fouls and clearly a fixed match.
Maybe the famous south east Asia gambling cartel ?
