Which country has the worst food

So it appears that Mongolia, Afghanistan, United States of America, United Kingdom, Eastern Europe, Philippines, Italy, and Thailand made the list of the worst food countries. I understand why the first five countries could make the list, but do not understand Italy and Thailand.

It surprised me that someone listed Thailand (on a Thailand forum), but I guess that is why Baskin and Robin makes 31 flavors of ice cream.

America is gross for its fast food, but it also has some of the best ever:

Cattlemans in El Paso has the Best Steaks I have ever had.

And I have eaten gourmet food in New Jersey, New Orleans, Los Angeles, San Fransico, Seattle, etc.   

My view is that if you cannot find in America, it is not there (subject to health inspection which would exclude 1/2 of Thai foods).

I am sure that you can find excellent food in most countries (UK, USA), maybe some not so excellent food in some (Afghanistan, Mongolia). I think that Thai food is one of the world's best with it's fresh and bold flavors. This is not to say that every Thai dish is the best in the world, but overall it is a very unique and tasty cuisine (IMO).

Although Fish Chips and peas are delicious, British food seems pretty bland to me so I guess my vote would go to the U.K.

Your knowledge of food in the UK is obviously limited for you to make such a comment.

Judging by the last few weeks its not only in the food dept where knowledge seems to be limited!
