Be careful.  My understanding is that Thailand does not recognize Thai dual citizenship.  So if they find out they may force a choice.    Meaning be careful how you ask the question to Thai officials.

Not exactly true.. Know a Thai thats been a US Citizen for 38 years. Speaks better Floridness than her husband and she has reinstated her Thai Citizenship. Has a new Thai ID card and Thai house book. She is proud to call herself an American. Still has and uses her US Passport.

There is a law mentions that, but it is entirely unenforced.  So long as you deal with Thailand using your Thai credentials and your other country with it's credentials, you're fine.  There are numerous websites discussing it.  ex: http://www.dualcitizenship.com/countries/thailand.html

Officially, you renounce other citizenship when you become a US citizen, but if you don't renounce it to that countries authorities, you still hold citizenship.  The same holds true for my wife and kids.  If Thailand made them renounce their US citizenship on some Thai government form, it would be meaningless as the US would still consider them citizens, and therefore they have to file taxes, etc.
