Buriram City Pillar Shrine
Buriram City Pillar Shrine (San Lak Muang)
Originally. The City Pillar Shrine was a wooden house and topped with a corrugated metal roof. It was established at the same area as the Today's Shrine.
Later in 1969, The shrine was renovated to concrete house and the three-tiers roof with a mondop spire on the top of the roof. Mondop of this shrine had a five-tired spires. The shape of the shirne at this time was a mixture of Thai and Chinese architecture style.
Renovation of the new shire had taken place in 2005 with the erection of Khmer architecture style in order to relate with Buriram Province's identity,. The land of brickwork castles in these days.
