Very nice Chinese temple in the heart of the city, not far from the entertainment area.
The temple have activities in the area every year (Chinese opera fair).

I took the video today at 18:00pm, the Aerobic dance activity start at 17:00pm, apart from this there are exercise machines and can do jogging around the moat/park.
Today was nice weather and it was windy and not too hot.

Developments buriram city moat wat isan September 2010

?I had a visit in the area today, the whole city around is under construction, developments of the new moat near wat isan, roads being expanded, great things happening now to Buriram city, with all the moats around it add alot to the environment and architecture of city, we'll have the most beautiful city in the area I think.....

The city is continuing to be developed, the Elephant roundabout area (exit of Buriram town. close the Rajabaht university and Agriculture college).
The Elephant roundabout is also an attraction for people who want to make a special wish, come up on the stairs closer to the Elephant statue and pay respect (Thai language: "Tamboon").
There is a small place just opposite the Elephant roundabout which sells scent sticks and flowers for people who come to worship the Elephant statue.
When I have been there, I met a woman who said she came to pray and ask for a special wish and wrote a letter of this request so she came there.

Constructions are around the Elephant statue in the roundabout area,workers said the job will be finished in about 2 months. They are restoring the garden area with special plants and building beautiful fish pools.

The project budget is 29,050,000 Baht. (See ad below).

I think it will be very beautiful when it finished
