Welcome to the forum.

My wife is from about 5K north of NDD on the way to Lahansai, we still live in Europe and will not live here for a few more years. We need to save a few more shillings yet :-).

There is not a lot to do in NDD, only one bar (U-Turn) that I know of and very few Farangs around. If you want to know anything about the place prior to your visit just let me know.

Good Luck

Mike

Welcome Simon,
There is quite a gathering of Farangs who get together in Nang Rong on Weds & Sats at a place called Pop Socks(which has rooms too). Also regular deliveries of Farang frozen food by yours truly...I deliver to both Packham & Lahansai.

The main well built restaurant after all the tin shacks is recommended

Is the provision of rooms relevant, Nookie?

If you are talking about the one  just opposite the hotel I believe it is now shut down. I only heard about this yesterday from an American who lives just down the road from me.
