Steady on Rufus.

All he did was get drunk and cause a bit of damage – expected behaviour from an Australian

He was arrested and hit his head when he “fainted” in Police custody – routine in Police stations

No charges were laid – again routine stuff

If he was fined $2000, it must have been by the Australian authorities in the belief he had somehow sullied his nations reputation  :D :D :D

This is of course, totally misguided, it is globally accepted that Australians are a bunch of noisy insecure twats with a compulsion to travel the world telling all and sundry how wonderful Australia is

The smallest amount of alcohol seems to exacerbate their insecurity, causing them to trumpet any small sporting success their countrymen may have had; hoping probably that the reflected glory will enhance their own “tough guy” image

Droning on in their ghastly whining accent, with an interrogative rising inflection at the end of every sentence, turning even the the most mundane statement into a question, it sounds like they are unsure of the language and are seeking constant approval that they have used the correct words – more insecurity I suppose

Do you have something against Outer Mongolia ?

No offence, just saying like

It's a given Harry and well deserved too usaflag  bravo1

Isn't it just great to watch though?

All those young fit birds in their skimpy outfits (not that I noticed of course - I focus mainly on the technical aspects of the various sports)

I hope the US stays ahead of China, although I confess I prefer to watch the Chinese women - sorry I meant to say Chinese skills and abilities ..... ashamed1

Well we are now over halfway through the Olympics and I think I can safely say that barring divine intervention the UK will finish up with more medals than Australia

Now this may stick in their throat but it is nothing compared to the grief they will have to endure for the next four years if they fail to overtake the Kiwi’s who (at the time of writing) are in an exalted 14th slot compared to the Aussies derisory 16th. To add insult to injury it would appear that they don’t have a hope in hell of overtaking in the gold stakes those bastions of sporting prowess North Korea and Kazakhstan.

Still at least they can take a crumb of comfort in the knowledge that they are whupping the other colony, Canada who are languishing in 27th on the medal table! Now what’s that all about?
