many Thai music band as well as Japanese follow the Korean.

Opinion about Korean Wave by People from TVXQ web board Thailand

Almost of them said that Korean wave has a good and bad thing on itself. This is an opinion from Thai Teenagers to this trend.

From our survey the opinion from 30 teenagers in TVXQ Fanclub webboard about “How Thai Teen People think about Korean Wave” We want to know how Thai teen think about Korean Wave in Thailand and the effect that it has to our homeland society. We found that, they have many different several opinions. Have a good opinions and bad opinions about this situation. So this is some reason from the survey.

 
 
The Good Things about Korean Wave:
1. Have a new choice to listening music, watching the T.V. program (series, T.V. shows) because the story of Korean T.V. series is easy to watching and have several-interested plot, not violence (the woman slap man and man use the violence act to kiss woman) or  plot again and again like Thailand drama.

2. Some new technology brand (LG, SAMSUNG) from Korea become to know and use in Thailand to make our life more comfortable because it’s low price more than the western technology.

3. Open vision and have more knowledge in this country from the entertainment multimedia. We can know about food, life style, history and culture, value judgement and travel place in this country.

4. Thai Teen people love Korean artist because

            - Korean artists are serious in their work (singing and dancing) for the best result, for the best performance. To not make their fanclub become disappoint in them. This is means Korean Artists not only have good looking but also have a high skill in singing, dancing, and performance the drama. (That some Thai artist can do great like Korean artists.)

            - Korean artists care about their fanclub feeling. They realize that everyday that they can become popular because of this fanclub. If don’t have fanclub, they can’t become in this point.

            - Korean songs have great wonderful sound and good meaningfulness in the song.

            From this reason it make Thai Teen people to

            4.1 Learn about Korean Language. To know the meaning the song that they listen and to know what they favored artists are talking about.

            4.2 Dance cover the artist. Increase their dance skills to good like their favored artist. Some group of Thai Teen can win the dance challenge because of the ability in dance skills of the artist inspire them.

            4.3 Thai Teen use the good habit from their idols (about serious in work, try hard to give a great work) to be their inspiration. Incase of if the artist can do the hard things, so Thai Teen can do like them and become success in their life like their artist.

5. Thai people can have a new business such as

- Korean Food Restaurant

- School for teach Korean Language

- Travel Company for Travel Korean

 
The Bad Things about Korean Wave:
1. Some Thai Boyband copy the Korean music style or music are same to each other by a chance, so

            - The Fanclub of Korean Artists attack very aggressive to Thai artists who copy (or same by chance)

            - Some Thai Artists lost their true self. Because they things if you want your music become popular, you will must like the Korean. But the truth is not like this. Korean Artists can success because of them skills and ability. Not copy from other guy.

2. Some T.V. advertisement (Misteen BB Cream) promote like “If you use this cosmetic, you will beautiful like Korean Women.” It is not make sense. Because Thai women is charm and beautiful in herself, it is ridiculous to be beautiful like other foreign woman.

3. Some entertainment multimedia, advertisement is over promote or fake the consumer about Korean Wave such as “if we advertise our product same as Korean or import (or not import) product from  Korea, we can make the consumer buy our product because we can make consumer believe that every products come from Korean are always great”

4. Some Thai Teenager and especially in young teenager (13 – 16 years) can lost their conscious in this case

            - If they find a photo, T-shirt, CD music, T.V. series DVD, ticket concert or everything about their favored artist appear on it, they will buy all of them with out analyze well.

            - They can’t divide the time such as surf the internet for long hours to survey about their favorite artists in order to read the school book, do homework or help their parent to do the housework.

- Parents warn they child not to addict this trend so much, (They mean you should to do more advantage things such as read a book) the child will answer to them with aggressive word, and then they become argue. Become to the problem about “Adult misunderstand in Korean Wave and look this trend in bad ways”.

- They addict to the Korean Wave entertainment multimedia, and sometimes they can't analyze that something is should to do or shouldn't to do.
