Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) in Thailand
« on: November 15, 2011, 12:27:08 PM »
Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) in Thailand is meant to pursue an amicable settlement to a dispute. Arbitration and Mediation are the most common schemes employed to promote the use of ADR in settling various kinds of economic and business disputes.

Arbitration in Thailand is considered to have many advantages compared to litigation, this is one of the reasons why companies and other entities are often more willing to trade with and invest in states where arbitration is supported as an effective procedure for resolving commercial disputes.

Arbitration helps alleviate the backlog of court cases, as it has proven to be well-suited for the resolution of commercial disputes. It is recognized as providing greater transparency in international disputes. At the same time, arbitration allows the parties to keep the nature of the dispute and any relevant proprietary information confidential, whereas litigation does not.

Mediation, on the other hand involves the presence of Mediator who will help the parties reach a mutually-acceptable agreement.

As it's stainless I would recommend a saw with carbide blade and plenty of suds. Don't forget your safety glasses and try to make the 50-50 cut in the right direction  pray1

Assuming you cut as per Nat make sure you line up the water outlet and pressure / temperature thingy so as the cut will give a fair and equitable portion to each person.
