I have always believed that wine is for drinking  -  not spitting in a bucket.

The Cortica Antica is perfectly quaffable, as is the Italian red @ 125 bahr for a half litre carafe, as are the various bottles of Aussie wine sold at 250 Baht a bottle.

I'm sure a Restaurateur of your standing would only sell a palatable house wine  smilenod
To be honest , expensive wine and cheap plonk taste the same to most people IMO.How many people would know the differance between a Chteau Lafite Rothschild Pauillac 1996 to a Rancho Zabaco Dancing Bull Zinfandel 2009 ...not many. Most on this site seem to go with quantity and price rather than quality .An expensive wine may well have a full body, a delicate nose and good legs, but the odds are most amateur's brain will never know. alcoholic
