Samsung 933BW / 943BX LCD

Hi guys, so now in the tech section of Buriram, I'll give a review of a new LCD screen 19"  wide-screen I just bought for myself.
I have made research in the city, resolution,prices,etc.
I am very happy with this screen,its a big change from my older crt 17" samsung screen I had (which was good as well,I have a thing to samsung screens for some reason..).
anyway,its big,sharp colors,beautiful black-piano panel. NICCEEEEE !! 
I checked the LG as well,but it might be the model I checked that wasn't so clear.also if looking on he  value4money side,samsung gave the best results..so I bought it.Price for new 5000 Baht.

so from now on I see our forum bigger than ever..  BUMS!

After using it for few days,I felt like I don't like it so much,first time for me with wide screen and at first it feels cool,later you understand that most websites are hard-coded to different resolution which brings you back to the 600x800 resolution, wide screens are mainly good for games and movies formats,which I never use my computer for these things,using wide-screens to surf on the net gives you on most websites/webpages "dead areas on the sides,so infact you have a wide-screen that you don't really need,so I went and changed it to the Samsung 943BX ,it's more expensive,5700 Baht.apparently wide-screens are much cheaper than the squere ones,maybe because the disadvantage of the wide-screens? maybe less popular..I don't know.Anyway took it. wow, big relief! all websites and desktop back to normal but BIG
It's also 19" but squere not wide-screen. thats it. I'm happy with it,I sit for so many hours infront of the computer that it's very important for me to have it.
I Recommend on this screen as well.

Glad your happy with your new purchase.
I suppose its what one is unsed too, but I could go back to a square screen now.
As you rightly suggest, it is very useful when playing games &/or watching movies. It is the only chance I get to see anything in HD here in Thailand. I regularly download torrents from UKNOVA to catch up on current Engrish TV programs.

I bought a ASUS monitor and even though its not a brandname too well known in the UK, Its great and I would recommend them too.

ASUS is also a good deal as this brand sold cheaper than others like samsung,LG,etc..
Sometimes it's the same factory makes all the screen panels but at least when you buy a brand name you can trust they stand behind their names for QC and standard of production.
I saw Acer are cheaper for some reason but when I consulted with my IT guy he didn't recommend on them at all for some reason.. all I know is that I always go for Samsung and never been desapointed by this brand..
