HOW TRUE

We're "broke" & can't help: -
Our own Senior Citizens,
Our own deserving Troops,
Our Orphans,
And the Homeless
etc . . . etc. . . etc. . .


In the last month alone we have provided aid to: -
 
Haiti   - again!,
Chile , 
Turkey ,
Greece ,
Pakistan - again. . .
amongst others

 

Our pensioners are living on a 'fixed income'
Receive no aid, or get any breaks, while our
government and religious organizations pour

Hundreds of Millions of ££££££'s
And Tons of Food
ALL to Foreign Countries!


We have thousands of adoptable children who are shoved aside
WHY  .. . . .
To make room for the adoption of foreign orphans!!!!!!!!!!!

 
 Great Britain - a country where we have: -
Homeless without shelter,
Children and adults going to bed hungry,
Elderly going without 'needed' medication,
The mentally ill without treatment -etc,etc.

YET...................

They are requesting donations for the people of  Pakistan . . .
A country that trains British Muslim extremists
how to BOMB & KILL us!!!!
A country that ploughs millions into its  nuclear programme!!!
A country with hundreds of millionaires who do sod all
for THEIR own  countrymen!!!.
The same country that has passed laws so these
rich people don't pay ANY taxes!!!
The same country where most of the aid sent
DOES NOT reach the ones in need!!!
 
 
...and we have - Yet AGAIN  . .
TV stations that are spouting WE are letting these people down!!!
Whilst OUR ships And OUR planes
(laughably some are Military ones)
All lined up to fly and crammed full with:
Our food . .
Our Bottled Water!!! . .
Our New Tents . .
Our New Clothes .. . .
Our New Bedding . . .
OUR NHS Doctors & Nurses
And OUR medical supplies . .
Whilst UK cancer patients are denied life saving drugs!!!
And some of our OWN - from children to pensioners -
go to bed hungry!!!


Imagine if the *GOVERNMENT*  gave 'US'


The same support they give to other countries.

Western Governments should stop keep handing out money and do something a little bit more constructive

There seem to be a big anger of people in the western countries all over the world because of the open policy for immigrants and some illegal immigrants which are from the conflict areas like Sudan and Africa region in general and file Refugee claims even if they travel just to make a better life other than in their home country.

Some of the western countries are claiming it bring crime and poverty into their country, some are claiming we must give hand and aid to the poors of the world.

What is justice in your eyes?

Will it make your conscious more quite if your country will send food or money only to these countries?

Or maybe every country to their own and that's it?!..

Yes, Admin, there are many unfortunate people that we should try to help... but not at the expense of our own people.  Any Government's duty is to look after its own people first.

But who decides where my money goes?  I may not agree with a specific group/country receiving money, yet my tax dollars are going there.  And when there is not enough money, the GVT rather than manage their spending, takes more and more from me.

You elect the Government (actually you individually probably don't, but the people of the country do), and whether you like it or not, delegate to your government the duty of deciding how much money to take from you, and where it goes.  It would of course be possible to have a system like the Swiss do, where everything of importance is decided by referendum... but you and I, even if we lived in Britain, probably wouldn't be happy with voting on a referendum every other Sunday!

Whilst I have every sympathy for the genuine poor many freeloaders have given them a bad reputation.

However, I do not see why the west has to be the conscience of the world while there own fellow country men treat them with such contempt and park the countries limited wealth (and possibly our aid money) in personal overseas bank accounts.

Agree, charity should start at home.

Sending money to countries of which  regimes steel from their own people isn't helping them, it's making the situation worse,even there the rich getting richer and the poor getting poorer, for example, Cuba hasn't had any help for the last 40 tears, jet the situation there is better than it is in most African countries that got bilions and bilions of Euro's/Dollars, helping makes the regimes greedy, ans why should you go to work if money is given to you for free?

Wealthy countries give 'aid' to the poor in poor countries countries on the basis of political considerations, not on the needs of the poor in various countries. So, if you are poor in a politically sensitive country, you are going to be relatively better off. That's how the world works.
