I guess you could change the name of this topic: Multiple nuclear meltdowns in Japan... never believed it would get this big, like people there had not enough problems allready.

I read somewhere the radiation will go as far as to North America and to some parts of Europe.
Considering Thailand is geographically much closer, Do we have to worry about radiation coming from Japan? ???
The weather got crazy lately also, global warming or effect of the Japanese disaster?

This might answer the question......

Colder weather in Thailand is caused by global warming
The Nation 2011-03-17

Weather Department on Thursday said that the global warming is the major cause of dropping of temperature in Thailand.

Department's Deputy Director General Somchai Baimuang said that the cold weather is likely to continue until tomorrow.

Temperature on Thursday has dropped across the country, with that in Bangkok dropped to 19 Celcius and that in northern province of Loei went down to 6.12 Celcius.

I think spreading of contamination to North Amerika is because of jet streams over Japan.

I think (and hope) this Japan situation wont have effects in Thailand. I understand that in rainy season winds are blowing from south west (from India direction) to Thailand.
