Yes I've seen 13 but the ending spoilt it for me ,the original French version was supposed to be a much better film .Jason Statham is a good British actor and I found The Mechanic a watchable movie as well as The Transporter Trilogy.
The town was another good movie i have watched lately as well as The Fighters , a boxing film with a Rocky ending  ;D

I now know why it  won an Academy Award for Best Documentary Feature in 2011. .If you think Thailand is corrupt ,think again,USA are still number one in the worlds corruption league in my book. Here's a taster and review fro You-tube ....

Seen a few movies recently. True Grit was ok but exactly the same as the original.....thought there might have been a little variation? the fighter was good. Drive Angry 3D was ok. did not think much to I am number 4.

One of the worst films I have watched this year,I can now understand why IMDb only gave it 3.9/10 and I should have gone with my original gut feeling and not bothered,I can only think David recommended this movie as a joke .It was a mediocre British low budget gangster style film that would only appeal to the dim-witted ,poor story line ( Low budget "Taken" )filled with has-been TV actors. The story-line seemed unbelievable with gratuitous violence and a theme that would be more suited to a crowd of National Front Supporters than an avid film viewer like myself. My suggestion is don't waste your time watching this garbage and if you haven't seen 'Taken' ( http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0936501/ ) watch that movie instead.

Thanks David,nice one  nono

I'm sure The Social Network will be worth a watch though  smilenod

After finding out my copy of  The Social Network was a dud I took GarryTaffy's advice and watched Drive Angry 3D
This movie was about a vengeful father escaping  from hell and chasing  after the men who killed his daughter and kidnapped his granddaughter.Loads of car chases ,car crashes with a few nudes and funny lines thrown in for good measure. This movie is like a cross between Ghost Rider and Machete and if either of those films appealed to you then this movie is for you. The 3D FX are supposed to be as good as Avatars but by me watching the film on my computer it didn't do the visual FX any justice and I would recommend a theatre viewing for the Nic Cage fans .Amber Heard ( icon_heart ) who plays Nic's side kick adds to the eye candy  and Nic Cage and William Fichtner (who plays the anti hero)  do their  best to imitate The Terminator by not dying which all adds to the fun.At one point in the film Nic Cage ( Milton ) manages to kill about 8-10 bad guys whilst still making love to a waitress he has pulled in a bar and it doesn't even slip out  thumbup One to watch on an evening with a few beers with you mates.....8/10

great report. I love Nicolas Cage but in the last few movies I saw he was different, best movie he play in was the 'face off' which is an old movie but must see and the other one I can't remember the name now, I have to see his latest movies to decide weather he got better or not.... boxingguy

More like Barry Humphries!  :D

I have just watched 'The Next Three Days' with Russell Crowe and thought it was quite good. He is a quiet calculating husband who is trying to avenge/put right wrong-doings to his wife. She has been falsely imprisoned for murder.

7/10

The Social Network is definetly worth seeing even though it sounds like a bit of a boring subject matter. It won so many awards, they cannot all be wrong.
