Also last night I watch Paul

Simon Pegg and Nick Frost (Hot Fuzz, Shaun of the Dead) reunite for the comedy adventure Paul as two sci-fi geeks whose pilgrimage takes them to America's UFO heartland. While there, they accidentally meet an alien who brings them on an insane road trip that alters their universe forever. For the past 60 years, an alien named Paul (voiced by Seth Rogen) has been hanging out at a top-secret military base. When he discovers he's been taken prisoner, the space-traveling smart ass decides to escape the compound and hop on the first vehicle out of town-a rented RV containing Earthlings Graeme Willy (Pegg) and Clive Gollings (Frost). Chased by federal agents and the fanatical father of a young woman that they accidentally kidnap, Graeme and Clive hatch a fumbling escape plan to return Paul to his mother ship. And as two nerds struggle to help, one little green man might just take his fellow outcasts from misfits to intergalactic heroes.....7/10

Here's the trailer..

On this wet Thursday afternoon I have just watched Midnight in Paris

To be honest I have never been a big fan of Woody Allen or his films, but Midnight in Paris was so good I may just become a convert. Midnight is Paris is not just a movie, it is a dream. As a movie it exceeded my expectations from the reviews I had read.
Owen Wilson plays Gil a writer in Paris with his fiancée to met up with the new in-laws. He has fallen in love with the city and thinks they should move there after they get married, but Inez ( Rachel McAdams ) does not share his romantic notions of the city or the idea that the 1920s was the golden age. When Inez goes off dancing with her friends, Gil takes a walk at midnight and discovers what could be the ultimate source of inspiration for writing. Gil's daily walks at midnight take back in time where he meets his hero's from the past,Fitzgerald,Hemingway,Picasso,T.S. Eliot and a host of others.
This is the best Comedy/Fantasy/Romance film I have seen this year 9/10   love5

Here's the trailer ....

Here's one I watched a few weeks ago called Killer Elite that you guys might enjoy  thumbup

Based on a true story, Killer Elite pits two of the worlds' most elite operatives - Danny, an ex-special ops agent (Jason Statham) and Hunter, his longtime mentor (Robert De Niro) - against the cunning leader of a secret military society ('Clive Owen' ). Covering the globe from Australia to Paris, London and the Middle East, Danny and Hunter are plunged into a highly dangerous game of cat and mouse - where the predators become the prey. :o
Good action film, great story and great cast ( Statham,De Niro and Owen   love5 ),all in all a good film ,I liked it 9/10

One more worth a watch is Hobo with a Shotgun

A vigilante homeless man pulls into a new city and finds himself trapped in urban chaos, a city where crime rules and where the city's crime boss reigns. Seeing an urban landscape filled with armed robbers, corrupt cops, abused prostitutes and even a pedophile Santa, the Hobo ( Rutger Hauer ) goes about bringing justice to the city the best way he knows how - with a 20-gauge shotgun. Mayhem ensues when he tries to make things better for the future generation. Street justice will indeed prevail. love5
If your the kinda guy that thought "Drive Angry 3D " was gay,"Grindhouse" was for poofs and "Machete" just didn't have enough blood and gor then "Hobo with a Shotgun" is the film for you. It's bigger, louder, prouder and in all honesty this is one of the goriest films I've seen in a while   smilenod
When I grow up I wanna be a Hobo with a Shotgun  spot1,I'm sure the gun loving Yanks on here will love this one . ....9/10

Here's the trailer...
