Now I see there is a newer version name "Fusion". Maybe I should try them.  jumping8
Almog I have been using a Gillette 'Fusion' for about 8 years now, ever since I did some work in the Gillette factory in London and I do not think they are available here in LOS.

I get the blades from Ebay or brought over from the UK.
They are very expensive and the No.1 Item to be stolen from shops, hence the many sales on EBay. They work out about 50b per replacement head/blade but they do tend to last quite a long time.

I never get cuts either with them. As you suggest, I find gel better than foam for the baby face finish.
Thanks, I think the hot water make the difference and using gel is helping.
I will try the other blades brand names later as I still got stock of the Gillette blades.

OK, I went to Big C, the selection of blades and shaving foams/gel is very poor.
Anyway its the first time I look at the blades prices in Thailand because I always got it from the Duty Free which is much cheaper there.
Gillette blades from the series I use cost 350 Baht per pack of 5 units. moneysmile
So I bought the 'BIC' 3 blades ones: 49 Baht/2 units ready with the stick.
I tried it this morning and it was great. almost no cuts, I think they will be my current choice for shaving blades.

We got a bit serious on the shaving matter but I think it is good to know especially that we all shave almost every day.  wave1

I have always found BIC the best of the instant razors. Didn't realise they were part of Gillette

They are not part of Gillette.
Its a comparison between the Gillette razor to the BIC razor.

Understood Admin, It's just that you labelled the photos "shaving blades gillette bic"

You know gentlemen, if you wanted to remove yourself from this disposable blade syndrome and subsequent controversy....one could always go over to the old school vintage straight-razor or double-sided safety razors. The old razor doesn't need to be "replaced", just needs to be sharpened occasionally. I have a reasonably simple theory as to why we can't find a decent variety of shaving paraphernalia here in the local areas - the market, per se, still extends itself towards Thai guys, whom don't have heavier beards or have little facial hair to deal with. Why have diversity in your product list, if you can't sell it?
