I've lived all over the world as well Adam... You're a lucky man to have never needed to protect yourself with a gun..
I haven't either but there again I don't hold anything against those who do carry.. As for the civilized crap you vomited..
We are much more civilized and benevolent then most countries on the planet... Hope you enjoyed your opportunity to
take another cheap shot at my country again.. Which is something you do quite often... Have a good day.. Take Care
, God Bless, and Be Well...

Cheap shot, banter, or the truth hurts?

One of the things that gun deaths/violence statistics include is suicide to make it seem worse than it is.

And I have also lived all over the world on 5 continents.  And carried a loaded weapon in several countries, it was definately necessary.

Of course a gun is necessary in a war zone.

Have you had to defend yourself with a gun in the USA? Have you had to use it in the USA? Do not answer if your job was law enforcement.
Does having a gun make your dick bigger?

Cheap shots, but no gun needed.

If you live 5 minutes walk from 7-11 you may never need a car to get there.  However, on that rainy day, with your sprained ankle, it is nice to have one.  This is just to say that the general public does not own guns to go out killing, they own guns for the day that they may have to defend their lives from some drug crazed armed gangster.  Yes police are just minutes away, but the crime is usually over by the time the call gets dispatched.  IMHO

All the mass killing (except one) happened in gun free zones.    Sad that criminal prefer unarmed victims:

Same old BS spouted about gun free zones but didn't answer the question I asked. So I am guessing that you have never needed to use a gun to defend yourself in the States.

You just want it cos it makes your balls bigger and your constitution written when you needed a gun to feed your family says you can have one. There is now a supermarket in every town, you don't need to shoot chicken nuggets!

I don't need a gun to feel safe in my own country or here.

Because I do not think that you need a gun in the US makes me stupid does it? How grown up of you to resort to name calling, I bet you would like to shoot me wouldn't you, then I couldn't disagree with you.

OK, because I am very stupid and apparently envious of your huge manhood Let me ask a simple question for you to answer.

With the exception of a job in Law enforcement, have you ever in your daily life in the US, needed to use a gun to protect yourself, yes or no?

Sad thread, why not just leave it alone. Obviously no one is going to budge an inch. I wouldn't mind having a 38mm but I don't feel like looking after it, locking it away from the kids, going to a gun club. We have a lot of dogs.

I'm not pro gun because it takes proper gun education and training on a continuous basis.
But after reading and re-reading some of the remarks here I would like to have one again.
Stupidity has to be eradicated like vermin.
This for the good of the world and for our children.
If you are against guns make sure you do not mingle with people who are not against guns or shut up.

Amen.

Ed, Keith and others : stop reacting to some stupidity, it isn't worth your efforts and/or time
