Sorry to P1ss on your parade Den Butt, but no, I am not one of those people in the Video clip.
It was very funny though, I'll give you that.
But to make you feel a little better, I did hurt myself once firing a mortar.  Baseplate kicked up from the mud and hit me in the shin.  Still hit the target though, ... well kinda.  You don't have to be that close with a mortar, nearly will do.   jumping6

Yanks. They like firearms and weapons. Evident by their clear militarism-based culture.

I'm impressed JtT, Grown man that play around like little kids? Seems you think it's cool to fight a war, to me it's (probably) a necessay evel of wich I don't have to see anything. Put some rocking music under it and it seems even cooler. I see now you probebly heve the average IQ of an American, that's way lower of an everage European.

Impressive stuff John.

<iframe title="YouTube video player" width="480" height="390" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/-mIwKWiV_E4" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>

I was only a 'toy soldier' myself.  The Irish army reserve (FCA) was like a local militia, more about drinking sessions than parade duties.  But it was run by retired regular army NCOs and Officers, so the practical riflecraft and fieldcraft lessons were thought well.  Too well maybe, because the IRA used it as a training ground when they got past the background checks

So Den Buut, John was the real deal, it was me that was only playing at being a soldier.  I did get to chase some armed IRA guys though the mountains after a roadblock.  That was good fun.  not many people can say they did that.  But typcially, being Ireland I ran out of bullets (Gov. cutbacks) before they did.
