Are they open on Christmas Day ? I will pass through then and it would be nice to buy something to feed the khmer family of my wifes daughter in law in Baan Kruat.

Dieter's place is the oldest Falang establishment in Prakhonchai having opened over 3 years ago.

He always closes on Saturdays.

However, we really serve different markets. Dieter's style is German/European and I have always found the food to be good. I particularly like his Weiner Schnitzel.

It is a simple restaurant that has a core of regular (mainly) German customers. Dieter's wife Nee is very pleasant and her daughter helps out with waitressing..

To get there from Buriram, go straight over the traffic lights in the centre of Prakhonchai (heading towards Ban Kruat). You then turn right at the second crossroads after almost 1 km. Dieter is 200 metres on the left opposite the wat.
