Liverpool v Sunderland
Liverpool clearly the better team
Sunderland lucky not to be 3-0 down.... we were lucky to have Andy Carroll's goal disallowed following a soft challenge....but that's the way it goes, some the ref gets right....some wrong......also lucky that Downing's excellent effort hit the crossbar.
I thought the ref's decision not to send off Richardson was a good decision....but I'm sure that Liverpool fans may disagree....I wonder if the beach ball is coming on in the second half......LOL

Liverpool looked decidedly "ordinary" in the second half after Larssons equaliser....good point for us...

I hope that is as good as it gets for Downing. He said at the end of last season that even if Villa were relegated he would stay.....now he wears Liverpoo red,,,,a hole.
