I think 9999.9% of lady-boys look like men so I don't want to have sex with them as I am Heterosexual but there are to odd few that are so attractive you would have to be gay to find them not attractive.

I post on quite a lot of  forums and quite a few guys banter about whether you sleep with lady-boys or not ,I think this is mainly because they fear that the thought of them finding lady-boys attractive threatens they own masculinity, so use it as a derogatory form of banter   .
When you go to Pattaya there are 1000's of Lady-boys but I have never had sex with any of them,I'm not saying it hasn't crossed my mind but up until now I have resisted so may be I haven't  got the gay gene . I don't think on a forum like BE you are going to get many honest replies to this tread,just a lot of joking and p*ss taking because most men that do find lady boys attractive  will not admit it  because of fear of ridicule from other's. Already Admin has said "not my thing for sure" but he must be a little curious or he wouldn't have started this thread.

Boloa, I'm a very open minded person but I can't see myself with a ladyboy, even if made surgery and exact like a lady, also, I have never mistaken to believe ladyboy is a real lady, its something in their eyes/look/behaviour (even if not extreme feminine same many ladyboys).
In the past I almost tried but it felt so weird I just dropped the idea. 
I also think, that if you like man, get a man, if lady, get a lady.
but to get something in the middle is beyond my ability to understand, its bizarre.

But again, each person to himself, some will enjoy it and I can't judge them.

On an another local forum a new members said he was coming to this area to live and would like to met up with a few people and members to talk about the local area.He then said he was gay. WHY. ??. Do I tell people I am straight when I join a forum.!!!!!! What people do and who they sleep with is up to them and I would never judge a person on his or her sexual bias, only on their views and their personality.
At the same time I agree with some of admin's point and I myself could never see myself with a Lady-boy but that's not saying saying I don't find some of them sexually attractive ( IE Treechada Marnyaporn).

I think ladyboys are for gays with personality problems.

They can't face the fact they are gays and need to be with men and in the same time can't face their unexplained attraction to women.
so they find comfort with ladyboys living in denial they aren't gays!!!!

Before you can post a sensible answer to this question (quite apart from the invidious stereotyping involved), you have to define what you mean by 'ladyboy', a very ambiguous term in Thailand.  It can mean, (1) a transsexual (pre or post-op), (2) a transvestite (who may or may not be thinking of having a physical sex change), (3) an effeminate gay (this is how most Thais use the word),  or even (4) any gay.  The flamboyant goys you see in the night club areas may be either of the first three  types, or somebody having fun.  It goes without saying that the intermediates between these types are numerous.  And we haven't even mentioned shemales.

Now start thinking.

The guy in the other forum probably was nervous about how gays might be received here.  After all, most people, rightly or wrongly, stereotype farangs living in Isaan as those who have married bar-girls.  You and I know that  is far too simplistic (I like that word!).  I too am up front about being gay, partly to avoid silly questions about my wife, and partly because I feel people have to accept me as I am;   if they don't, that's their problem.  I'm happy to say I have had no problem about it here.  But there's enough anti-gay prejudice in the world for us to feel slightly on the defensive about it.

This is how I see it:

Ladyboy = shemale.

IE: On female hormones, trying to change their body, before/after surgery, dress like woman.

Gay = Man.

IE: Might act in effeminate way more or less, but still a man.

What if they are a post-op lady-boy and have had their penis removed and a false vagina made. Are you gay as they are still a man on their ID card or are you straight has they don't have a penis even though they used to be a man
