Hi guys, is anyone familiar with  the Ta-men-chai district of Lamplaimat?

No, I have made a search and haven't found a place like this at all, maybe you mistake with the spelling?
Sometimes translating Thai phonetics to English can bring a totally different name... sawadi

Yes, Tha men chai is tambon on the way to Chumpueng. Last village before reaching Chumpueng. Between Kumueng and Chumpueng. It is in province Nakhon Ratchasima. The border between Ratchasima and Buriram is just between Kumueng and Thamenchai.
As the poster asked in the shoutbox, I am sure there are people living there, but I don't know their names hahaha.

Fun_Smile.
There are 2 Thamen Chai, you are talking about the one in Korat province but the OP is talking about Thamen Chai that is in Lamplaimat district, Buriram province.

Take a look on the map below and you will see Lam Thamenchai, Nakhon Ratchasima on the left side of Khu muang,Buriram. sawadi

The OP clearly said Tamenchai in Lamplaimat district. Why are you talking about Ku Mueng and Khorat?

Thamenchai is a district on route 226 between Saleng Pan and Lamplaimat town(about 20/25kms from Buriram town). It is also on the Railway route and has its own station.

Hi Guys, It is the Tamenchai in Lamplaimat and it does indeed have it's own railway station and is about 25k from Buriram city. Has anyone been there? The reason I ask is because I live there when I am in Thailand although I am living in wet and cold kent at the moment. If there expats around the area I would love to meet them as it gets a bit lonely up there sometimes...but I wouldn't move away from there as I love it too much!
