Just to know, I want to have the thai driver license car and motobike but I have a French license already translated just to drive a car.
I have to produce the driver licence translation or my international license or both  ? What are they asking for in Buriram ?

International license will do the job; however, would save you time and effort if you have both auto and motorcycle.

Well, to be clear if I go with my international license they will make me do what ?
By the way, how much  I will pay for the car and the motobike driver licence ?

I believe when you have an international license, then they want you do the Depth Perception and Brake Test but for example in Pattaya with an International License you don't have to do any tests so it depends to which DLT you go (TiT as usual ;) )

First time you will only be issued with a 2 year license, and I am not sure about the costs but it would be around 300-400 THB (maybe even less). 5 year license for Car / Motorbike was around 7xx THB.

In Buriram ,If I didnt have an International Drivers Permit I would of had to sit through the test , I just did the Depth Perception and Brake Test along with the watching of the video.
They still wanted to see and have copies of my Australian licence along with the IDP

Nang Rong licence place very easy. I would not show a translation of the IDP it could make it more difficult. It is not a requirement to have it translated. When I did mine and also helped two others it was as if you came in to get a bike licence. During the application the lady just asked do you want a car licence with the bike! Do the colour blind test, perception - test and reaction test...Easy as... if you half fail or fail each test they will help you get through it!! No need to watch video and do test. Depending on how many people in the building maybe 2 to 3 hours all done.

Follow this link... Zoom in on Nang Rong and it should show up. Province Transportation Office is what you are looking for

https://www.google.com.au/maps/place/Nang+Rong,+Nang+Rong+District,+Buri+Ram+31110,+Thailand/@14.6212793,102.7769627,15z/data=!4m5!3m4!1s0x311bd54174d4e92d:0x40469cfc8def6e0!8m2!3d14.6335733!4d102.7934934

If you cannot locate let me know.

If you dont have a French motor cycle Licence you will have to do the practical and questions test, Im not sure if they need translation of your French car licence is a requirement ,English ones are not required

Thanks for details @Wozza, what about http://ebooking.dlt.go.th/ebooking/ ?
Why the Nang Rong Province Transportation Office would be better than Provincial Land Transport Office of Buriram ?

I got my bike and car licence at Buriram, walked in and was told come back tomorrow , i had both a car and bike licence from australia along with the IDP so it was simple. if you need to start from scratch you need to book in and its about a week from when you ask . I dont know about Nang Rong
