Satuk Dragon Boat races 1st & 2nd November.

Well after being the star attraction last year, this year we were relegated to the warm up act! So by 10.30 am on the 1st day we were done and dusted!

We did however put on a good show for the farang population and at the 2/3rds mark were actually leading the Thai team by several meters, however they were just toying with us and eventually beat us by half a boat length. But it did look good for the thousands of spectators who were giving us the usual barracking.

Bearing in mind our final crewmember was only press ganged last evening the result was extremely pleasing.

Well its now for a darn good massage and some of that universal panacea Tiger Balm for my blisters!

Hi

Well we were knocked out in the first round on the first day by a proper Thai team so we had an early bath!

Rather lost interest after that , but planning our revenge for next year!
