With just over one week to go -what a disappointing response

5 of the the 7 defs are not even local to Buriram!

Where are all the Buriram residents? See so many in Big C every time I go there!

Nick, 90% if the farangs are NOT allowed to mingle from their wives ... two weeks ago, I was walking over the saterdayafternoon talaatnat together with english Terry and when I approached a tall farang I had never seen before his response was : "leave me alone !"
The bloke had a nordic/german accent. Here in Lahansai there must around 80 registered farang and we hardly see more than 10 at the market where we sit together for a beer ...
Anyway I don''t care, experience has shown me that 90% of the farangcommunity is best left alone ...

Largely agree with you.

At the last event in December, more than half those attending originated in our locality, and we all came together.

Perhaps the next event should be held well south of Buriram! (if there is a next one!)

When these meetings first took place they were held in The Bamboo Bar and were mainly attended by farang from Buriram with some from Surin and the Airport.

Some farangs are simply don't want to mix with others, maybe they afraid THEIR Thailand will be ruined if they do so.....
