is this the best we have got ???????? Emile "The Goal Machine"`` Heskey is an English international and the only donkey currently playing for Aston Villa as a hopelessly awful striker scoring -14 goals in a season. His mistake against France in the previous world cup leading to their second goal, denying England an easier route to the final sealed his "donkey" status and more recently, a lack of guile leading to England's best defender Ferdinand missing out on the world cup, cemented Emile's donkey status. which Born in Leicester, he started playing for Leicester in 1994 where he surprisingly scored a couple of goals. He made his £11 million move to Liverpool[1] in 2000. Yeah, I know, £11 million. Anyway, after Liverpool realised that he was awful (it only took them 4 years) he moved to Birmingham City FC in 2004 and then Wigan Pathetic in 2006 and then to Aston Villa in 2009.

He made his England debut in 1999 agaisnt Hungry in a 1-1 draw in which he (to the surprise of many) nearly scored. He didn't, but it was close. He retired from international football after Euro 2004 and former team-mate and England striking partner Michael Owen was not very sympathetic, saying,"Good riddance - he really is absolute bollocks." Coupled with being constantly slagged off by the press and the emergence of Mr Potato Head up front he thought it was best to call it a day. and now hes back  oldmanwithstick

some pictures of an open bar located on Thanni road, buriram city, just at the front of "Talad Tong" market.

Not much people were sitting there when I went to photo the place but the front with the photos caught my eyes, there are also some lovely "Singha" ladies there. redman

Maybe the biggest good surprise until now is Holland, going to the finals almost indefinitely

Biggest disappointment is maybe England and France?!  confused6

Had to post for Other Team.   confused4   usaflag

Country pride because I'm a Yank, but also the USA team overcame 2 game winning wrongly disqualified goals to finish #1 in the C Bracket.

Hopefully we'll get rid of the bad Refs and not have hadicaps imposed on us.

That being said, from an American standpoint it is a really sorry state of affairs that a team that kissed their sister (game ended in a tie) two out of 3 games is the top team of that bracket.   happybar

USA!!!   USA!!!!

My predictions for England and USA.

England to lose to Germany 2-0. If England cannot outscore Algeria, what the hell is it doing in the world cup?

USA to take Ghana 3-1 then lose to Uruguay in the next match. If Team USA can get pass Uruguay, It will change that team emotionally, possibly enough to make it to the semi-finals, where it will have run out of steam.

I feel confident Argentina will take the cup. Nederland surge was based on the fact that they were not facing much serious competition. Watch out for Dark Horse Chile.
