Land Surveyor, anyone?
« on: January 28, 2010, 02:44:42 PM »
Hi there, from a recent arrival to the wonderful Isaan region.

Near Satuek I have found what looks like some very nice land on which to build a modest house, but I am aware that land hereabouts can change from the Kenyan savanna to a Florida swamp with the seasons, so I would like to consult a land surveyor to give an assessment of how suitable this land really is.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

Advice with some local experienced Thai builder. maybe with 2 to cross both advices.

Where is it? is it higher or lower than the street road.
if its lower you'll have to invest in filing some land to make the area higher for the rain season.
when its raining here many streets get flooded and you should consider it seriously when building a house.  party12
