Mukdahan province is the closest Laos border to Buriram (so I think) and Mukdahan is quite dead city at night.
there are some night life but nothing to talk about.
Maybe TBWG can enlight us about this area..

*Regarding to the meeting; Can be 21st only if will have enough takers and people to come, I thought it would be nice as it's exactly the time when more foreigners coming to visit the area/Buriram and Surin, so it might be a good opportunity for all of us to meet each other and as somebody said, see the faces behind the "nick names".
Make a choice and let's roll it..

A definate maybe for me. I get to BKK at midnight on 19 Dec so should be in Buriram on the 20th. Subject to being enticed elsewhere.

December 21 should work for me.

When things are finalised, I will 'drum up' the troops in Surin but let our beloved Social Leader post details in Surin site. TMWG> it might be worth printing a couple of posters to put up in TimeOut for Ray's party, its bound to be heaving with farangs.

Good idea, you'll dress like a Santa, and three bears.. well that shouldn't be so hard...

I will put it on my calendar, really enjoyed my trip there. Rocky's place has a real eye appeal for relaxing

Thanks for the tip, I found Coffee Connection (6) but initially it was had trying to locate the number, perhaps they should marked in colour so they really stand out like the yellow colour below. The boxes in which the numbers are in could be coloured, it just helps the older members.
