I just became aware of this site and think that it is a genius-of-an-idea!
(Could save everyone untold hours of unnecessary frustration having to
re-invent the wheel.) 

My name is Cliff Carbaugh and I have been making numerous trips to
Buriram for the last year and a half.  I am planning on retiring, (from being
a Middle School math teacher,) in June, '08 and spending the majority of
my time in Buri Ram!

I hope to meet all of you soon!

The website is not yet finished as you can see, but I'm working on it.

My only thoughts up to now are
to (somehow) build a sense of community.

How this is accomplished is the question.
(Barbeque?, Party?, Dance?, ..... a forum
for members and interested parties to meet
and get to know each other, (and YOU!)

I need to return to the U.S.A. next week
for a little "refreshing of the funds," but
I'm planning on returning in October.

I can still check-in on the web regularly though!

I'll post whatever thoughts I get when they come up.
I'm a regular diner at the night market (daily.) 
When in Buri Ram, I'm on a pretty tight leash-
(except during the workday, M-F,) so
I don''t have much experience with the night-life 

Anyways, I'll do whatever I can to help buriramexpats.com
become a helpful, enjoyable, useful, pleasant resource.
