I have eaten my fair share of brussel sprouts over the years, and cannot recall they have ever induced farting. Christmas pudding though is another matter!

This doesn't change the Sprouts ability to cause flatulence, it just makes them taste better!

Did business for years with a public school food service who proudly served brussel sprouts once a month or so -  to the poor little Hoodlums.  I constantly asked why the staff was so angry toward the kids to do that to them.

Unfortunately Bill, I have found that drinking Theakston's Old Peculiar with BS has quite the opposite effect.
