Cheeses made in Thailand.


I am about to place an order for some cheese. If anyone wants to 'piggyback' on the order, it will include the following:-

Cheddar.

Red Leicester,

Blue Stilton

Lancashire.

Pepper Jack

Not sure of the exact price but should be less than 100 Baht for a 250g gram pack - the Stilton-type cheese around 150 Bt/250g.

If anyone wishes to order, please PM me in the next 2 days.

    Pepper Jack: This is the only Non-English Style we do. We were asked to produce this for a customer and though it would make a great addition to our product range. It's a mild cheese with Jalapeno peppers added during the curd stage. As the cheese ages, the peppery flavor intensifies.This cheese melts extremely well, making it suitable for things like quesadillas and hot sandwiches. The moist texture also makes it suitable for grating, so people often sprinkle grated pepper jack cheese on a variety of foods; the cheese pairs especially well with barbecued meats such as beef, and it can be used on burgers, steaks, and various broiled dishes. Pepper jack may also be cubed or sliced and set out on a cheese platter with bread and crackers, and it goes best with slightly sweet white wines, for people who wish to include it in wine and cheese pairings.

Scotch eggs? I remember a pub I used to frequent 40 years ago. There was a jar of scotch eggs on the bar top and I got to know each individual egg well, as I think that over the three years nary a one ever got sold. Your eggs look pretty good and I could be tempted to try one. Good effort

I think you are mistaking Scotch Eggs for Pickled Eggs. Had they kept Scotch Eggs in a jar on the bar anyone foolish enough to buy one would have probably died of food poisoning.
