"Ami's Bar"/Opposite Vong-Thong hotel.
« on: October 10, 2009, 10:31:31 AM »
Hi guys,

Just letting you know we have a new guy in town.
His name is Harry and he opened a small Bar opposite Vong Thong Hotel. (same soi/street as us. Soi Hanchana).
Small bar,low prices as well.
Cocktails are available as well.

As for his report,it's for his wife to run the bar and will be mainly for Thais as he will spend only part time in Buriram..
But whenever he is there, you're welcome. nice guy.  happy2

Good luck.  happy3

It's more like bar for thais and for his girlfriend to operate by herself, Nothing like the "farang oriented" bar places around.

But I think they not opened the places for the last recent week.  confused3 confused2

Didn't that place first open up in Dec 2006 then called " The Pub" .Think it was ran by a Brit, Dave might have been his name and I think his Mrs was called Noi.

Wow ! That's history.
The bar you're talking about ("The Pub") was run by Brit guy name Peter and he splited out from his wife long time ago.
This place sold out / rented out (don't know really) to Thai people running the place now.
The place is more close than open..

Harry's bar we're talking about is up in the same street OPPOSITE Vong Thong hotel.

*the pizza place is later on down in the same soi.
The place was closed in the last 2 weeks, but it's open now in the last few days.
It's actually looks like a nice small place.  :)
