I always hear foreigners telling me some funny stories thai have told them about buying land in Thailand and "farang mai dai" , ok,now you need to know your rights no matter where you are and who you are.

So yes,foreigner can't buy a land in Thailand on his name BUT have ways to accomplish power on a property/land you want to buy and invest your well hard worked money.
