2,000 blankets for mountain folk
By The Nation on SundayThe Rajaprajanugroh Foundation yesterday provided 2,000 blankets to victims of the cold in mountainous areas of Nan's Bo Klua district and Chalerm Phrakiat.
As the mercury dropped to 8-10 Celsius at night on the province's mountaintops, foundation chairman Disathorn Watcharothai presented 1,000 blankets along with some royally granted items to each area's representatives.
The Weather Bureau has warned that temperatures will be 2-4 degrees cooler from today through Tuesday.
