Child custody
« on: June 07, 2017, 05:38:08 AM »
Has anyone here been involved in a child custody procedure? It looks like we are going to be squeezed to pay money in order to be able to keep our great grand child (god I feel old saying that) with us. The mother is a thoroughly disreputable person, I won't go into details, and she has taken up with a convict. The plan: take him away and put him in a boarding school. He is three years old and I am pretty sure this would destroy him, he doesn't remember his mother at all.
At the very worst I should want to be able to know where he lives and have right of access.
Where do I start, we aren't just going to hand him over like a parcel if the mother turns up one day.
Family courts?
